Tokenomics

$REKT is the Solana token behind access to rekt.page. It was fair-launched on pump.fun, its supply is fixed, and the app takes tokens out of circulation instead of printing new ones.

  • The developer stake unlocks all at once on December 6. The lock cannot be cancelled and its recipient cannot be changed.
  • The airdrop vault is what the airdrop is paid from, over several rounds.

The flywheel

  • App users stake and lock $REKT rather than pay for 7-day and 30-day access, and get it back when the stake ends. Lifetime payments are 50% burned. See Access.
  • Token holders get buy pressure from two sides: trading volume, and buybacks paid for by creator fees.
  • The developer builds for the value of its own stake. The supply is fixed, so new issuance is impossible.

The burn vault

The burn vault is a Solana program that receives $REKT and burns it on the admin's order. A burn really reduces supply. There is no withdraw function: what goes in can only be burned.

Program: BURNSZMs9SKHsR5mqVDipDDShLXrPeGDXQUBZPJSQ1dg

Where its tokens come from

Three inflows, each counted separately:

  1. Lifetime purchases. Half of every lifetime payment. Only the staking program can tag an inflow as this kind.
  2. Creator fees. pump.fun fee sharing sends 50% of creator fees, in SOL, straight to the vault's SOL address 6Jy8448Gb1CX7BMPRS52tvWhRjHXqoB2xDoK6A6gRGoq. That SOL can only be used to buy $REKT back. The buyback function is not live yet. Planned
  3. Developer buybacks. The developer buys $REKT back with other revenue and sends it in.

Who can do what

  • Admin. One admin runs burns.
  • Governor. The only one who can replace the admin. The governor is to become a 2-of-3 multisig.

Live on-chain stats

The landing page at rekt.page reads these straight from the chain:

  • Stakers per plan, and the total staked
  • Lifetime holders
  • $REKT burned, and $REKT waiting to burn
  • SOL waiting for buyback
  • Burn vault inflows by source
Not financial advice

Nothing on this page is an offer to buy $REKT or a promise of future value. The staking program is unaudited. Crypto is volatile and you can lose everything you put in.
